Tell us about your journey. Why advertising and technology?

When I first joined Mediaocean, then still known as DDS, I started on the client side working in a support role with no previous knowledge of the advertising industry. Having had no previous development experience and only my math’s degree to fall back on I then made the jump into development, where I spent the next two years learning and working with our mainframe system. This earlier role paved the way for me to move into my current role as a Product Manager.

In what ways has working at Mediaocean challenged you and enabled you to grow?

The environment at Mediaocean and the industry we are in is constantly changing, which has meant that I've always had the opportunity to move on to a fresh new challenge, when I've been ready for one.

What do you enjoy most about working at Mediaocean?

I've always been quite lucky to work with amazing colleagues - genuine people who I have had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside with.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years and what role does Mediaocean play in helping you get there?

Wherever I go to next, my main requirement is for the role or project to be challenging. I see myself progressing in my field, to a more senior role over the next few years and I hope to continue working on great products and with great people.
