We are looking for

An eLearning Instructional Designer who can become a key member of our small but dynamic team and who can help create leading edge eLearning for our clients.


What you’ll do

  • Develop instructional materials for internal and external audiences; modify existing instructional materials in line with new product releases
  • Conduct needs’ assessment and reflect upon elements of a situation before finalising design solutions and strategies
  • Apply needs’ analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation skill to generate deliverables.  Identify and describe target population characteristics
  • Design a curriculum or programme that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
  • Select and use a variety of techniques to define and sequence the instructional content.  Create consistent output in line with design standards
  • Evaluate and assess instruction and its impact
  • Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form.  Translate technical documentation for end-user consumption
  • Establish content and delivery methods by serving as a liaison between many major groups within our organisation such as Account Management, Support, and Training


What you’ll bring to the job

  • Recognised eLearning developer qualification or a degree in Education, Instructional Design or a related subject
  • eLearning design and/or technical writing experience in the software industry
  • Experience creating medium to large external training programmes and applying creative methodologies
  • Proven expertise in technical writing, teaching/training, performance measuring, multimedia, audio visual equipment, curriculum, and course development
  • Enthusiasm for training and the ability to present material in a professional manner
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word
  • Proficiency with multimedia authoring tools (such as Adobe Captivate)
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to convert technical or complex information into easily used and understandable text and illustrations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong influence – project management, needs analysis, and collaboration skills
  • As a self-starter, the ability to interact positively with inter-organisational groups and outside customer contacts
  • Solid attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to multi task and complete high volumes of work
  • The ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
